DEPARTMENT OF LABOR LAUNCHES ON-LINE WORKPLACE SUBSTANCE ABUSE WEBSITE - Called the Substance Abuse Information Database (SAID), the new site contains substance abuse resources, a glossary of substance abuse terms, and summaries of relevant studies, surveys, reports and case studies. The database, designed to help employers establish and maintain a workplace substance abuse program, includes information collected from government agencies, state and local organizations, private-sector companies, business associations and non-profit organizations. It contains a summary guide to both state and federal laws that address drug testing and unemployment and workers' compensation as related to substance abuse prevention policies.
