United Nations and European Commission To Hold Forums on Demand Reduction

INTERNATIONAL March 1995

The United Nations International Drug Control Program and the European Commission announced a project to hold forums for organizations and government bureaus interested in demand reduction in Asia and the Pacific Region (United Nations Information Service, "UNDCP, European Commission Launch Demand Reduction Project for Asia and Pacific Region," Feb. 15, 1995).

The first forum will be held in New Delhi from March 6-10 and will focus on south and southwest Asia. The second forum will involve fourteen countries in southeast Asia and the Pacific and will be held later this year.
